A Marantz 6370Q spinning too fast is usually caused by dirty or
oxidized internal speed control potentiometers (pots), requiring them to be cleaned with electronic cleaner (e.g., Deoxit). Other causes include a malfunctioning pitch control, improper belt tension , or issues with the quartz lock mechanism.
Troubleshooting and Fixes:
Clean Speed Potentiometers (Best First Step): Open the bottom of the unit and apply contact cleaner to the 33/45 RPM adjustment pots. Rotate them back and forth multiple times to clean the contacts. Adjust Pitch Controls: If the turntable has pitch control knobs, try setting them to the "0" or center position.
Check the Belt: Ensure the belt is not too tight (a very tight belt can cause fast speeds). Check Quartz Lock: If the 6370Q is acting similarly to the 6350Q, the quartz lock mechanism might be failing, causing speed fluctuations.
Inspect Motor/Bearing: If the speed is inconsistent, clean and oil the motor bearing.
Gramofon nema niti jedan potenciometar, a bome niti remen.
